Liberia’s President Consoles Government & People of Republic of Congo
MONROVIA, THURSDAY, MARCH 08TH, 2012: The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to the Government and People of the Republic of Congo following the sad news of an explosion and fire at a local barrack in Brazzaville on March 4th, 2012, causing electrical shocks that resulted in a growing number of fatalities.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Johnson Sirleaf extended deepest condolences to His Excellency, Mr. Dennis Sassou Nguessou, and through him to the Government and People of the Republic of Congo, especially the bereaved families for such tragic and irreparable loss.
President Johnson Sirleaf further prayed that the Government of the Republic of Congo and its people, especially the families of those deceased, will be consoled by the Almighty God during this hour of national mourning and sorrow.
