Monrovia: The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has sent a message of congratulations to His Majesty Albert II, King of the Kingdom of Belgium, on behalf the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name, on the occasion marking the observance of the 175th independence anniversary of that country.

In the message to King Albert, II, and through him to the Government and People of Belgium, President Johnson-Sirleaf extended heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes and noted with satisfaction, the tremendous progress made in that country during King Albert long years of service to the People of Belgium.

President Johnson-Sirleaf noted that the history of the two countries shoes a record of mutual respect and friendly cooperation and it is her ardent wish, that together, both countries can discover and implement broader means of economic collaboration with maximum benefit for our two Nations and Peoples.
