His Excellency Mr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, has sent a congratulatory Message to his South African counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa.

President Ramaphosa was recently confirmed by the South African Parliament as their new President following the resignation of former President Jacob Zuma.

In his congratulatory message, President Weah stated: “On behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in my own name, I am pleased to extend sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of your confirmation as President of the Republic of South Africa.”

The Liberian Leader assured Mr. Ramaphosa of the Liberian government’s determination to continue strengthening the cordial relations subsisting between Liberia and South Africa.
