President George Manneh Weah has congratulated His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion marking his re-election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to his Nigerian counterpart, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Buhari for his election to the highest office of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the presidency.  

President Weah also hoped that as President Buhari embarks on the task of shaping the future of Nigeria, the excellent ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.

The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Buhari with increased wisdom and strength as he steers the affairs of Nigeria and leads his people to greater prosperity and happiness.
