The President of the Republic of Liberia, H. E. Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as sent a message of condolence to the Government and People of the Republic of the Philippines for the Motorboat capsized in the Ormoc Seas, Leyte Province, leaving thirty eight (38) persons dead and fifteen (15) others missing.

In the massage to His Excellency Mr. Benigno Aqugino, III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Liberia to the Pilipino, Leader and through him to the Government and people of the Philippines especially the bereaved families for the irreparable lost sustained, as a result of the tragic incident.

The Liberian Leader prayed that God will grant President Aqugino, III and the People of the Philippines strength, courage and fortitude as they go through the period of national mourning.
