The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of Condolence to the Government and People of the State of Israel following the death of Former Israeli Prime Minister H.E. Ariel Sharon who died after a period of protracted illness.

In her message, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf stated “It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon following a period of protracted illness.

In her message to His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the State of Israel, President Johnson Sirleaf extended heartfelt Condolences to the Government and People of the State of Israel for the irreparable loss sustained on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.

President Johnson Sirleaf then prayed that the Almighty God will grant solace and consolation to members of the bereaved family and the People of Israel as they endure this period of National Mourning.
