The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of Condolence to the Government and People of the Democratic Republic of Algeria following the tragic news of the crash of an Algerian Air Force Plane resulting in the loss of several lives.

In her message, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf stated “It is with profound shock and deep sorrow that we have learned of the unfortunate news of an Algerian Military Plane crash into a mountain in the Eastern Region of Algeria, killing seventy seven (77) people and damaging properties”.

In her message to His Excellency Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the Democratic Republic of Algeria, President Johnson Sirleaf extended on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name, heartfelt Condolences to the Government and People of the Democratic Republic of Algeria, especially the bereaved families, for the irreparable loss sustained.
