The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has
congratulated His Excellency, Pranad Mukherjee on the occasion marking his election as President of the Republic of India.

In her message to the new Indian Leader, President Johnson Sirleaf extended, on behalf of Liberia, warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Mukherjee, adding that his election by both Houses of Parliament and the State Assemblies is in recognition of Mr. Mukherjee=92s long years of service and immense experience.

The Liberian leader looks forward to closely working with his administration in further cementing the cordial ties of friendship between both countries as Mr. Mukherjee assumes office as India=92s 13th President.
