Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary, Mr. Rudolf P. Von Dallmoos Dies in London

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the death of H.E. Mr. Rudolf P. von Ballmoos, Liberia’s Ambassador accredited to the Court of Saint James, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. He was 56.

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, this sad and mournful event occurred Thursday morning (December 17, 2015), at the Epsom General Hospital in Surrey, London, U.K.

 

Prior to his demise, Ambassador von Ballmoos, served his Country and People as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, The Vatican and the Sovereign Military Hospitalier Order of Malta. He also served as Liberia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana.

 

He was later transferred from Ghana to the United Kingdom as Liberia’s Ambassador to that Country, where he remained up to his demise.

 

Ambassador von Ballmoos was one of Liberia’s outstanding diplomats, who served his country and people with dedication, commitment and loyalty.

 

The Liberian Embassy in the UK will open a Book of Condolence at the Chancery from 11:00 to 15:00 on Monday and Tuesday, December 21 and 22, 2015.

 

Arrangements are under way with authorities of the Epsom General Hospital and the Liberian Embassy in London, to ship back home the mortal remains of the Late Ambassador von Ballmoos.
