The President of the Republic of Liberia His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent a message of Condolence to the Government and People of the United States on the death of Mr. Colin Powell, former Chiefs Chairman and Secretary of State’s of the United States of America.

In the massage to His Excellency Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States of America, President George MannehWeah noted with shock and great sadness of the news of the death of Mr. Colin Powell, as a result of COVID-19 complications of the former Chiefs Chairman and Secretary of State’s of the United States of America on behalf the Government and People of Liberia and in his own name.

President Weah noted that doing this difficult period of grief, he extend to his Excellency Joseph R. Biden through him to the Government and people of the United States of America, especially the bereaved families, his heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss sustained and pray that the Almighty God will grant consolation to  the United States as it endures this difficult period of mourning.
