President Weah Congratulates Central African Republic on 60th Independence Celebration
The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and People of the Central African Republic on the occasion marking the 60th Independence Anniversary of that country.
Central African Republic gained its independence on 13th August 1960. The Day is celebrated each year as a National Holiday.
In the message to His Excellency Faustin-Archange Touadéra, President of the Central African Republic, President George Manneh Weah on behalf of Liberia, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of the Central African Republic, as they commemorate this historic milestone.
The Liberian leader expressed confidence that as Liberia joins the Central African Republic in celebrating this joyous occasion, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further enhanced for the betterment of the two countries.
President George Manneh Weah prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Touadera with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to nobler height.
