President Weah Applauds Lesotho’s Prime Minister on Election’s Victory

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Moeketsi Majoro, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, on the occasion marking his election as Prime Minister of that Country.  

 

In the message to Lesotho’s Prime Minister, President George Manneh Weah, On behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations to Mr. Majoro, on his ascendency as Prime Minister of that African state.

 

President George Manneh Weah further recounted that Mr. Majoro’s election is a clear manifestation of the confidence his people reposed in his leadership ability.

 

The Liberian President also commended the gallant people of Lesotho for the peaceful and orderly manner in which the transition of power took place in that sisterly country which he said demonstrates Lesotho’s cherished democratic experience over the years.

 

The Liberian leader then expressed hope that as Prime Minister Majoro assumes this herculean task of shaping the future of Lesotho, through sustained peace and national reconciliation, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Lesotho will be further strengthened in the years ahead.
