President Weah congratulates State of Qatar on 48th Independence Anniversary

The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the State of Qatar on the occasion marking the 48th Independence Anniversary of that country.

 

In the message to H.E. Sheikh Tamim bin Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qartar, the Liberian President extended heartfelt felicitations and best wishes to the Government and people of Qatar, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, as the people of India celebrate this historic milestone.

 

According to a foreign release, President Weah expressed hope that the already excellent bilateral coorpoartion subsisting between the two countries will be furthered strengthened in the years ahead.

 

“ We acknowledge with deep appreciation the strong partnership between our two countries, particularly, in international affairs, which we hope can drive more bilateral engagements” President Weah stressed.


The Liberian leader also noted that in furtherance of peace, security and global economic development within the context of Sustainable Development Goals, Liberia hopes to drive more bilateral engagements.

 

He then prayed that the Almighty Allah will endow H.E. Sheikh Tamim bin Al Thani with abundant wisdom and strengthen as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
