The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the Republic of Gabon on the occasion commemorating that country’s 58th Independence Anniversary on August 18, 2018.     

In the message to his Gabonese counterpart, Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Gabonese leader, and through him, to the Government and People of Gabon, as the country  celebrates this historic milestone.  

President Weah further recounted the cordial ties and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Gabon in regional and sub-regional bodies, adding that his Government looks forward to expanding the excellent friendship between both Governments for the prosperity of the two countries and peoples.
