Sierra Leone Vice President to Serve as Cuttington Commencement Speaker
The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Honorable Mr. Victor Boacharie Foh, will be visiting Liberia from September 22 to 28th where he is expected to serve as Keynote Speaker of this year’s commencement convocation of the Cuttington University.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, Vice President Foh will be visiting Liberia along with a 12-member delegation, including the Second Lady of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Jonta Memunatu Foh.
Other members of the Sierra Leonean Vice President’s delegation include the Minister of Youth, Honorable Alimamy Kamara and Dr. Jengo Stevens, Advisor to the Vice President, among others.
While in the country, Mr. Foh and his delegation will be hosted as guests of the Vice President of Liberia, H. E. Joseph Nyumah Boakai.
During the Cuttington commencement convocation, Honorable Foh will be conferred Honorary Doctorate Degree for humanitarian services offered the Government and People of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The visit of the Sierra Leonean Vice President represents the long and cordial relationship that has so happily subsisted between the peoples of Liberia and Sierra Leone.
The Sierra Leonean Vice President will be met at the Roberts International Airport (RIA) by senior Liberian Government Officials, including Vice President Boakai and Acting Foreign Minister B. Elias Shoniyin.
