President Sirleaf Congratulates Italy on 69th Anniversary of the Founding of that Republic

The President of the Republic of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf   has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of Italy on the occasion commemorating the 69th Anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Italy.   

 

In her message to His Excellency Mr. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Republic of Italy, President Johnson Sirleaf extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Italian leader, and through him, to the Government and People of Italy on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in her own name.

 

President Johnson Sirleaf expressed hope that  in furtherance to the strengthening of the excellent relations enjoyed by the two countries, the two nations will continue to work together to explore avenues for the expansion of the bilateral cooperation in other sphere mutually rewarding.   

 

President Johnson Sirleaf also expressed deep appreciation to the international community, for the support received including that of Italy’s contributions toward the fight against Ebola Virus Epidemic, resulting to the declaration by the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 9, 2015 officially announcing the end of the Ebola Virus outbreak in Liberia.

 

The Liberia leader also assured the people of Italy of Liberia’s commitment to the shared goal geared towards the enhancement of human dignity and prosperity for the all mankind.

 

President Johnson Sirleaf then wished for Italian President Mattarella, personal good health, happiness and long life and for the Government and People of   Italy peace, unity, and spiraling prosperity under the dynamic leadership of President Mattarella.
