The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf over the weekend sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of England and Northern Ireland on the occasion marking the commemoration of National Day which is celebrated June 16 annually.

In her message to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, II, President Johnson Sirleaf, on behalf of Liberia, extended warmest felicitations and best wishes to the Government and People of England and Northern Ireland.

Expressing delight over the occasion, President Johnson Sirleaf said she is hopeful that the cooperation and longstanding relations being enjoyed by the two countries will continue to grow stronger.

The Liberian Leader then wished for Her Majesty personal well-being and at the same time prayed that the people of England and Northern Ireland will continue to enjoy peace, prosperity and happiness as they observe this historic occasion.
