The President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the National Congress of Libya following the official observance of the 63^rd Independence Anniversary of that country.

In her message to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Youself El-Magariah, President of the National Congress of Libya, President Jonson Sirleaf on behalf of Liberia extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Libyan leader, and through him, to the Government and People of Libya as they commemorate the country’s Independence.

President Johnson Sirleaf further entertained the hope that as the People of Libya commemorate this joyous occasion, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between Liberia and Libya will   be further strengthened.

The Liberia leader then prayed that the Almighty Allah will endow President Yousef El-Magariaf with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
