The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of Luxembourg on the auspicious occasion marking the National Day of that country.

In her message to His Royal Highness, The Grand Duke Henri of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, President Johnson Sirleaf extended warm felicitations and sincere best wishes of friendship to the Royal Family, the Government and People of Luxembourg as the country observes the historic event on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in her own name.

A Foreign Ministry release says that in her message,  President Johnson Sirleaf noted that the observation of this year's National Day of Luxembourg will provide another splendid opportunity for Liberia to reassert its fullest commitment to enhancing the very excellent ties of genuine partnership and cooperation between both countries and peoples.

"It is my hope that we will continue working bilaterally and at the multilateral level to explore development opportunities mutually rewarding to our two countries and Peoples", the Liberian leader stated.
