The President of the Republic Of Liberia, Her Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to His Excellency, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika,President of Algeria and the National Liberation Front (NLF) of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria for the overwhelming victory in the recent presidential election.

In her message to the Algerian President, President Johnson Sirleaf, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and said that the victory shows he confidence which the people of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria have in his ability to lead their great country.

The Liberian leader said the Algeria election marks a great victory for democracy in Algeria and Africa as a whole.

President Johnson Sirleaf furthered that Liberia looks forward to continual strengthening of bilateral relations already subsisting between the two countries in the spirit of African solidarity.

She also expressed confidence that the two Governments will work together in furtherance of deeper cooperation at the United Nations and other International forums with a view to promoting international peace and security among all nations.

The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty Allah endows Mr. Bouteflika with abundant wisdom and strength as he lead his people to noble heights.
