The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the burial of the late Ambassador David M. Thomas, former Liberian Ambassador to the United Nations in New York, Geneva and several other countries, will take place on Friday, June 10th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Grove Baptist Church, Brewerville, outside Monrovia.

Ambassador Thomas died in the United States of America in March 2009 and his body was cremated. The burial on Friday, June 10th, is in keeping with his wish that his cremated ashes be brought home for burial.
