Gov’t Delegation Departs for Mediation and Security Council 25th Meeting
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador William V. S. Bull, at the head of a two-man Liberian Government delegation departs the country over the weekend to attend the 25th Meeting of the Mediation and Security Council (Foreign Ministers) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on December 2, 2008.
The other member of the delegation is Mr. Robert Y. Lormia, II, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs. Minister Lormia will later join the Liberian Government delegation for Accra, Ghana, to form part of ECOWAS Election Observer Mission to the Parliamentary and Presidential Elections scheduled to take place on December 7, 2008.
Assistant Minister Lormia, in the capacity as Representative of Liberia to the Technical Committee of experts on Peace and Security (TCEPAS) will attend the 4th Meeting of TCEPAS on Monday, December 1, 2008.
TCEPAS prepares the Agenda of the Mediation and Security Council and the Summit of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS.
