Foreign Minister Extols Outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Liberia as He Ends Tour of Duty

Liberia Foreign Minister H.E.  Gbehzohngar Milton Findley has extolled the Outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Liberia, His Excellency Mr. Alaa Issa, for his immense contributions aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations subsisting between the two countries.

 

“Let me extend to you my best wishes as you end your tour of duty to Liberia and thank you for your contributions in strengthening the longstanding ties between our two countries.”   

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, Minister Findley made the assertion when Ambassador Alaa Issa paid a Courtesy Call on him at his Foreign Ministry Office on the Capitol Hill and to officially take leave of the Minister as he ends his assignment as Ambassador of Egypt to Liberia.

 

Foreign Minister Findley praised Ambassador Issa for playing meaningful role in the smooth running of the Egyptian Scholarship program in Liberia which enables Liberian students the opportunity to seek studies in Egypt.  

 

“The Government of Liberia under President Weah is working assiduously hard to further solidify the excellent bilateral relations between Egypt and Liberia, Minister Findley   emphasized.

 

The Dean of the Liberian Cabinet also encouraged the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to continue to advocate on behalf of Liberia while in Egypt by encouraging Egyptian investors to explore investment opportunities in Liberia.

 

Speaking earlier, the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Issa expressed his deep gratitude to Minister Findley and Liberian government for the warm cooperation accorded him during his tour of duty in Liberia.

 

 

 

Reflecting on his tenure, Ambassador Isaa said he’s leaving Liberia after having a memorable and pleasurable stay in  the country over the years,” I have come to love and appreciate the people of Liberia” he added.
