The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to His Royal Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion marking the 59^th Independence Anniversary and the 29^th Anniversary of its Liberation Day.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah expressed immense pleasure and extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of the State of Kuwait, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in his own name.

The Liberian leader prays that as the people of Kuwait celebrate these historic occasions, the bonds of friendship and cooperation so happily subsisting between the two countries will be further strengthened for the development of both countries and peoples.

President Weah then prayed that the Almighty Allah will continue to endow His Royal Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with abundant wisdom, strength and good health as he leads his people to nobler heights.
