President George Manneh Weah has extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Republic of Kenya on the occasion marking the observance of the 56^th Independence Anniversary of that country.   

In the message to President Uhuru Kenyatta, President George Manneh Weah expressed hope that as the people of Kenya commemorate this joyous occasion, the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation between Liberia and Kenya will be strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples. 

The Liberian President also expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to collaborate in furtherance of the principles of the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN) for the promotion of international peace, security and economic cooperation among all nations.  

President George Weah then prayed that the Almighty God will endow President Kenyatta with abundant wisdom and strength as he steers the affairs of the Republic of Kenya.
