Liberia’s Honorary Consul Applauds President Weah On 54th Birth Anniversary.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Liberia, accredited to Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey, has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah on the joyous occasion commemorating the 54th Birth Anniversary of the Liberian leader.


 In his message to H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, Mr. Selahattin YILMAZ, extended heartfelt congratulations and profound best wishes on behalf of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Liberia, near Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey, and in his own Name, to the Liberian President as he celebrates his 54th Birth Anniversary. 


 Mr. Selahattin YILMAZ expressed his deepest appreciation to Liberia, for the excellent bilateral relations that cordially exist between Liberia and Turkey. He added that the strong bonds of friendship the two countries share are firmly founded on their commitments to uphold shared values, including the promotion of trade and investment, developmental agenda as well as global peace and security.  


He further indicated that the huge progress Liberia is making currently is as a result of the policies and strategies President George Weah and his government have formulated which are currently being implemented by his administration.


He named  the country’s Vision2030 Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PADP), which emphasizes jobs creation for the Liberia‘s youthful people; improvement of the country’s energy sector and physical infrastructures, as one of  government’s  policies that is helping to empower Liberians, especially its youthful population.


Mr. Selahattin YILMAZ then assured President George Weah of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Liberia’s readiness to stand by the Liberian Government, as the President strives to improve the livelihood of the people of Liberia.  


He also wished for the Liberian leader, personal good health and happiness in the years ahead as he steers the affairs of Liberia.
