President Weah Sends Message of Felicitation to Guinea Bissau on 46th Independence Observance

The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah has sent warmest felicitations to the Government and people of Guinea Bissau on the occasion commemorating the 46th Independence Anniversary of that country.   

 

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes to H. E. Aristide Gomes, President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, and through him, to the Government and people of Guinea Bissau, as they celebrate this joyous and historic occasion.   

 

President Weah also hoped that the bonds of friendship so happily subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.

 

The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Aristide Gomes with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to nobler heights.
