Acting Foreign Minister Heads Government Delegation to Libya for A.U. Extraordinary Session

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador William V.S. Bull, at the head of a high power Liberian Government delegation, departed the country on Monday, April 13, 2009 to attend the Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union.

The A.U. Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council which convenes in Sirte, Libya runs from April 15-16, 2009.

The Assistant Foreign Minister for Afro-Asian Affairs, Hon. George Wisner also formed part of Government’s delegation to the Extraordinary Session.

Meanwhile, Deputy Foreign Minister for Administration, Hon. Johnson Gwaikolo has been designated to act as Minister, pending the return of Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Bull.
